Participate in the County Wide Cleanup This Saturday, May 21

Winston County is asking citizens to participate in the Great American Cleanup Campaign this weekend. As part of the Keep America Beautiful Project, the Great American Cleanup takes place annually across the country. Volunteers clean and improve more than 33,700 communities by beautifying parks and recreational areas, picking up litter and removing trash.
Chancery Clerk Pam Reel invites civic groups, church groups and individual volunteers to come by her office in the Winston County Courthouse and pick up trash bags to be used as part of the program. Volunteers also need to come by and provide information about the areas they will be cleaning.
The County Wide Cleanup is scheduled for Saturday, May 21. For more information, Contact the Chancery Clerk’s Office at 662-773-3631.
